We thought you would like to know we are opening again – after a period of suspended activities forced by the global pandemic. We have slightly different opening times as well, from Tuesday 16th June 2020. We hope to work with you in the future, but invariably things are going to be different…

So, the new updated opening hours are 11am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, with Sunday as a day of rest. I hope you don’t mind the change in hours but the studio needs to slim down a bit. The hours I set for myself were not sustainable and at the end of the day making music should be fun and not something to bring you down; having someone there who could help you with the setting up of equipment and the de-rigging will all be more achievable with the new hours. And, who wants to jam for an hour at 9pm on a Tuesday? The cost of hiring the Rehearsal room will be £15/hour and you can now do it in blocks of two hours.

We will be making use of the studio more for personal projects and making the studio a more creative place; streamlined fun.™ A more person-centred approach.

There will be a number of measures in place to help stop the spread of Coronavirus –

  • We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here.
  • We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance – there will be a sanitisation station for the nation near the entrance.
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home – during Lock Down we enabled Prince Andrew to keep on keeping on whilst sat in a virtual Pizza Express, editing the website.
  • Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.

We advise the people you come to the recording studio or practice room to be in your Bubble. You will be spending time together in a space that is hard to keep 2m apart.

Creao can be used for Jam Sessions and Art meet-ups if the participants are aware that we are trying our hardest to provide a needed service and that they have responsibilities too. We do not want a free-for all. This has to be done with dignity and poise. We welcome you back to the new version of Creao; with updated opening times and stricter hygiene.
