Do you want to book a studio in Harrogate for DJ’ing? As in, do you want to practice your set for an upcoming event on a good sound system where you can make a bit of noise? Do you live in Harrogate but you lack the equipment to be heard correctly at Home? Well, maybe Creao Studio is the solution? We have a cork-lined room with a very responsive Tannoy™ PA that you can plug your equipment in to // you can use our equipment to practice with.
Hire is available from two hours up to a full-day and is chargeable every two hours, at £12.50 p/h. A member of our team will always be around to assist you should you need help. Our studio is fitted out with Fostex NF monitors and a Tannoy™ PA. Standard hire includes 2 x Pioneer CDJs 850 and 1 x DJM800 mixer. If you need additional equipment from the list below, please email Allan Smyth at info@allansmyth.co.uk beforehand.

We Had A Guest
Creao Studio had a guest over the weekend. Andy from Guerrilla Dub System was in until the end of shift practising for a private party. He needed to get the F1 set up correctly – he uses the Traktor S4 and Traktor F1 when he is playing live. The F1 doubles up as a soundboard, in a rub-a-dub style. The rest of the mixing is done using Dub Freezes.

They are available for Live Dub Mixing or for normal DJing (as long as it is Dub) – they are willing to work in most of Yorkshire and further afield.
Creao Studio hopes to become a centre of DJ excellence – we hope, in time, to start running workshops. But, that is a distant dream at the moment. We will keep you up to date on that on our Social Media and this blog.
