The First Riso Workshop Of 2020
Have you heard about Stinky’s Riso Press? It is a project based in Creao Studio and they are putting on their first workshop of 2020 on the 1st March at 2pm. It should be fun and there is no need to have previous / any artistic experience before hand. Come along, it’ll be a reet hoot!

What Is A “Riso Workshop”?
A Risograph is a type of printing method – it is a bit like a cross between a photocopier and a screen-printer. It creates big, bold prints based on what you feed in to it. Fine lines or chunky blocks – it can handle all of them.
Andy (aka Stinky) is running a series of Workshops where people can rock up and have a go at using the Riso Press, under his guidance.
What Do I need To Be Able To Do?
As long as you can climb stairs and you can use scissors then you should be able to take part in the Workshop. There is no need for previous artistic experience – Beginners are VERY welcome.
There is no need to have any previous ability to paint, draw or create graphics.
Okay, What Will We Be Doing?
Andy will help you make a collage from magazine clippings. We will then run this through the Riso Press and it will create Pop-Art.
Bring Beer or a Gin and Andy could make an afternoon of it. It’ll be fun!
March 1st 2020. Put that date in your diary and keep a few beers aside. You can buy Tickets to Andy’s Workshop using the button above. It is all done through Eventbrite – so, it is safe. The workshop will be running on 1st March 2020 from 2pm to 5pm at Creao Studio in the upstairs room.
