We Are Hosting A Series Of Art Workshops
We are hosting a series of Art Workshops on the second Sunday of the month for September, October and November. The dates for the workshops are – 8th September, 13th October & 10th November. It is tied in with Stinky’s Riso Press who are based here at Creao Studio. It should be Good Fun.
Well, what is Riso Printing? If you imagine what the offspring of a Photocopier and a Screen-Printer would be then you are close to seeing what the Riso press is like. It has an air of haphazard randomness to it that makes it … well, really cool. The Riso press is ideal for fine art prints and making zines – something that is a bit throw away yet attains cult status. The ink is sticky and the process is messy. But it is very cool.

An Art Workshop In Harrogate
Explore the wonders of Risograph Printing through Stinky’s 2 COLOUR PRINTING workshop. To be held from 2pm until 5pm on the scond Sunday of the month in a laid-back, non-judgemental atmosphere. They will supply Art Material – All you need to bring is your own creativity. If you attend, you will be making a series of collages from Magazine cuttings (magazines provided) and then running them through the Riso Printer. This will create a two-colour work of art that is going to be A4 in size.
